Adobe Photoshop Fire and or Explosion Tutorial.

For this Adobe Photoshop explosion and or fire tutorial, I created a new image 500 X 500 with the background set to transparent, and the colors set to default (black/white). I then created 5 different layers going from 1 - 5 up the list. 1 being at the bottom and 5 being up the top.

Step 1:

Layer 1: Filter Render Clouds

Step 2:

Layer 2: Filter Render Clouds, Set Layer Blending To Darken

Step 3:

Layer 3: Filter Render Clouds, Filert Distort Polar Coordinates: Rectangular To Polar, Smudge the dodgy looking line up the top centre to make it blend, Set Layer Blending To Overlay

Step 4:

Layer 4: Filter Render Clouds, Set Layer Blending To Soft Light

Layer 5: Filter Render Clouds, Filter Render Difference Clouds, Set Layer Blending To Overlay

Image Mode Grayscale: Merge

Step 7:

Image Mode Indexed Color: Flatten Layers

Step 8:

Image Mode Color Table: Black Body

My final image looked like this:
